Taiji Arita is PRIME at 3g:
Art3g is pleased to announce the February 1st opening of its first one-man show, PRIME, featuring new works by the renowned artist, Taiji Arita. A Fort Bragg resident since 2001, Arita began his career in the arts as a commercial photographer in Japan in the 1960's and started painting in 1980. After moving to Los Angeles from Tokyo, he commenced making 3D objects as well. He has had solo exhibits in Tokyo, Santa Monica and Fort Bragg, and over sixty of his photographs are in the permanent collection of the Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Photography.
Prime will run through April 25th and features Arita's current explorations in painting and sculpture. An opening reception for the artist will be held February 1st from 5 until 8 pm. For more information call 707-964-9666.
