Photography
I have lived and worked as a general contractor on the beautiful Mendocino Coast for 33 years. Home schooled in photography, I started taking pictures at age 18. I stopped shooting for a few years and then in 2005 discovered the digital world of photography and my passion for photography was rekindled.
I've been capturing the beautiful landscapes of Arizona, Utah, Nevada and California. My main focus has been on the spectacular vistas of California's North Coast to the coastal rivers and redwood forest.
Light is a photographer's paintbrush and that light is in a constant state of change due to season, time of day or weather. Living on the coast allows me to return to my favorite places time after time and capture that special moment.
I'm now shooting a Nikon D200 digital SLR camera with an assortment of fine lens. My photos are printed with archival paper and ink and mounted on PH neutral mat board. I use matte black gallery frames and high quality plexiglass. Below is a sampling of images from this show.
